The general purpose of the 2021-01 and 2021-02 Calls for Proposals with the theme “DIGITALIZATION IN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY” prepared under KOBİGEL – SME Development Support Program is as follows: For digitalization in the manufacturing industry, predominantly for national opportunities, – to expand the inventory of domestic and competent technology developer SMEs; – to increase the number of digitized business processes of manufacturing industry SMEs, with a priority to cooperation with domestic technology developers. REMOTE WORKING PERIODS FOR TECHNOLOGY PARKS AND R&D/DESIGN CENTERS CHANGED Upon the notification of the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s General Directorate of R&D Incentives, it was decided to change and extend the remote working period, provided that the number of personnel subject to notification who have been employed in line with the law in the relevant organizations, or the total working time corresponding to the personnel subject to notification is 60% between 1 – 30 April 2021, and that it does not exceed 60% between 1 – 30 May 2021. KOSGEB’s new program with a budget of TL 5 billion has been announced to support micro and small sized enterprises and technology-based start-ups (innovative young businesses in the Manufacturing, Computer Programming and Scientific R&D sectors established in 2017 and later) operating in the manufacturing sector that are deemed to be viable before Covid-19, but have experienced a particular income loss (25% income loss over VAT declaration after the pandemic) or disrupted cash flow after the epidemic although maintained its employment. The Regulation on Remote Identification Methods and Establishment of Contractual Relations in Electronic Environment to be Used by Banks Has Been Published! The Regulation on Remote Identification Methods and Establishment of Contractual Relations in Electronic Environment to be Used by Banks (“Regulation”), which regulates the procedures and principles for the establishment of a contractual relationship via an informatics or electronic communication device, or as a replacement for the written form or at a distance, which is intended to be used in remote identification methods that may be used by banks to gain new customers, was published in the Official Gazette dated 01.04.2021 and numbered 31441 to be entered into force as of 01.05.2021. A NEW ERA IN BEARER SHARE CERTIFICATES With Law No. 7262 published in the Official Gazette dated 31 December 2020 and numbered 31351, it was made obligatory to notify the Central Registry Agency by the transferee of the share certificate in order for the transfer of bearer share certificates to be valid before the company and third parties. With the Communiqué on the Notification and Registration of Bearer Shares to the Central Registry Agency published in the Official Gazette dated 6 April 2021 and numbered 31446, the procedures and principles of this obligation have been regulated and entered into force on the date of publication.
