| TÜBİTAK 1832 – GREEN TRANSFORMATION IN INDUSTRY 2025-2 CALL IS NOW OPEN! With the goal of advancing green transformation in industry, the TÜBİTAK 1832 2025-2 Call is now open for applications. The program aims to support pre-commercial R&D activities of products or services that have reached the prototype stage. THE SME DEFINITION HAS CHANGED! With the Presidential Decree No. 7297, published on 24.05.2023, the “five hundred million TRY” threshold in the Regulation on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises has been updated to “one billion TRY.” A NEW ERA IN THE INWARD PROCESSING REGIME! From now on, processes will be managed not only on a company basis but also through sector-based risk analysis. This means it is more critical than ever for companies to conduct their processes without errors and to fully comply with regulations. | WHICH COMPANIES ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP E-BOOKS UNDER THE NEW COMMUNIQUÉ? Published on 14.02.2025, this Communiqué entered into force as of 01.07.2025. The Amendment to the Communiqué was published in the Official Gazette dated 14.08.2025 and No. 32986, entering into force on the same date. DEADLINE FOR CLOSURE APPROVALS OF COMPANIES TRANSITIONING TO ELECTRONIC BOOKKEEPING IS 01.09.2025! Companies that have been keeping physical books but are now required to switch to electronic bookkeeping must obtain a closure approval for their physical books from a notary by 01.09.2025.
