| TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT REGIONS WILL IMPLEMENT THE VENTURE CAPITAL BY DECEMBER 31, 2022 As is known, Income Tax and Stamp Tax incentives were applied for the employeesof companies operating in technology development areas. The incentives, whichwould be offered until December 31, 2023, were extended until December 31,2028, by the enactment of Law No. 7263 published on February 3, 2021. | EMPLOYEE INCOME TAX CANCELATION CALCULATION IN TECHNOPARKS HAS BEEN REVISED As is known, Income Tax and Stamp Tax incentives were applied for the employees of companies operating in technology development areas. The incentives, which would be offered until December 31, 2023, were extended until December 31, 2028, by the enactment of Law No. 7263 published on February 3, 2021. The time extension regarding the implementation of Personnel Income Tax Cancellation and Stamp Duty exemption until December 31, 2028 took its place in the Regulation on the TDZ Law No. 4691, together with the “Regulation on amending the Implementation Regulation of Technology Development Areas”, which was published in the Official Gazette dated February 10, 2022, and numbered 31746. 👉 Please contact us via info@sistemglobal.com.tr for all of your questions and opinions. REGULATIONS ON NEW SUPPORT AND INCENTIVES IN TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT AREAS WERE PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE As is known, with the Law No. 7263 on the Amendment of the Law on Technology Development Areas and some other Laws published on February 3, 2021, some additional support and incentive elements were defined regarding the companies operating in Technology Development Areas. CORPORATE TAX EXCEPTION ON EARNINGS ARISING FROM CONVERSION TO CURRENCY-PROTECTED DEPOSIT With the addition of provisional Article 14 to the Corporate Tax Law No. 5520; a corporate tax exemption has been introduced for the exchange gains and interest and dividends generated at maturity, and for other gains from converting foreign currency and gold accounts included in the balance sheets dated december 31, 2021 into Turkish lira.
